In this pic the main things I have done today are apparent.  I have put a bit of angle behind the rear coupling so that the rear buffer beam doesn't break under load.  I have also fixed the layshaft bearing mounts to the chassis.  These are just lengths of aluminium angle I found under the lathe.  I have also painted the buffer beams properly.
