| Welcome to my site. Hopefully you will stick around and find out about its subjects, Mike the Metrovick and most recently Olivia the tram engine. Mike is a 5" gauge model of John Hampden, a locomotive that resides in the LT museum at Covent Garden, while Olivia is a battery powered model of a LNER J70 tram engine. Although a model of the real thing, we decided to nickname the metrovick loco Mike the Metrovick. Other pics on this site include the Little Red Train which is a 7 1/4" gauge model of a 1938 stock tube train. Other locos include the Metrovick owned by Mike Hanscombe, and the one owned by the Acton museum depot at Putney Green. Please see other collections below for the main Mike the Metrovick gallery. Enjoy! |

| I am 16 years old and live in Chertsey, Surrey in good old Britain. I am interested in railways and modelling generally, but in the last two years several factors have caused me to lean towards the London Underground system. I don't mean as it is now, I hate the new liveries, but as it was. This was when all the trains were red, Metropolitan trains still changed locos at Amersham and when the Oyster card hadn't been thought of. This site shows some of my London Transport modelling efforts, as well as other peoples. It also shows events from around Britain that I attend and photograph, for your viewing pleasure. Remember, its not a good tube train unless its red, hence the colours of this site!
